Cement Floors???

I watch House shows on HGTV. Can't say I understand why anyone would want polished cement floors for actually flooring. Can you say back issues in the very immediate future?? I'm know psychic but I do see it.

Family Court????

I watched Dr.Phil about a week ago. The topic was about family court. A young mother was talking about how she told a judge that the father of her baby threatened both of their lives and he needed to have his visitations revoked or at least, the very least, supervised. The judge accused her of lying not once but many times. And his visitations continued. Now where is this precious baby??? Dead and so is his father because the father killed them both!!!!
I was shocked and then pissed right off. Of course, this is not the first time the court system has failed and I'm lumping the almighty judges in that category.
Children are dying because some judges are not listening. I agree with Dr. Phil, we can't paint all judges with the same brush stroke. There are some who do their job. Because it is a job. But the one I mentioned in the beginning was not doing his job. His decisions were not based on all the evidence and he showed blatant disregard for a baby's life. He should take responsibility for what he has done. And his weak attempt at an apology obviously showing no remorse is a slap to the face of that baby's family.
As far as I'm concerned he should be charged with his death. He was no different than an accessory.

Mailman........

My mailman constantly, continually, all the time getting my mail wrong. The post office expects each person to put their name and full address, including 911# on the envelope. OK. So what's the problem after that??? Where the hell is it going??? I figure it's a relative not far from here. We can't stand each other. It's a mutual thing. So if my mail is going there I know I would never see it despite the fact the person has a completely different address than me. And who cares if that is against the law!!!!
I've complained at the post office but to no avail. It continues.
Any other job, except for a weatherman, a person would get fired for non-stop screw-ups. Apparently he gets benefited for a poor work ethic.

Oil Spill................

BP hasn't figured out how to stop the oil spill....give me a break!!!! Don't be drilling if the highly paid team hasn't bothered to foresee ANY possible problem that could arise in the future. BP fucked up big time and so far they've done squat to rectify the situation. Our world is being destroyed because of greed.....the all mighty buck. Now don't we all feel special.
There was a quote I read once that always stuck with me but I forget the author. "WE DIDN'T INHERIT THE EARTH FROM OUR ANCESTORS, WE BORROWED IT FROM OUR CHILDREN."
So true.
I think the BP bigwigs who make all the decisions should be charged with something .....like being so stupid to cause such an assault against Mother Earth. Look at the destruction their greed caused us all!!!!

New Products

My beef today......how many products can the population handle??? Come on...how many different choices of Tide detergent does the world really need??? Or Sunlight or air freshners or mayonaise or cell phones...... And who really wants anything smelling like lavender and vanilla. Good Lord what a combination. All these various smells are a weak attempt at aromatherapy. Very weak since the smells don't even come close to the real thing. Probably because there are so many chemicals in everything. If anybody is getting headaches out there and you buy this kind of stuff....there's the culprit right there. Try using the real thing....real essential oils. The smells are natural, wonderful and they actually help cure problems that ail you. Quit creating make-work-projects and get back to the basics and stop changing everything. It ends up being worse. We're supposed to be creating a society with less garbage so stop creating things that become obsolete and fill up the dumps.
Ok so I got a couple of beefs in that one. As long as somebody is listening I don't care.

Gripe for June 8 2010

Little tired of gravel truck drivers that think they own the road and will run over top of anyone in their path. Guess what guys, you're not the only ones on the road so BACK OFF!!!!!!!! That's why there are speed limits because you jerk offs couldn't stop on a dime and the rules of the road apply to you too including red lights!!!!!!!

Daily Rant for May 31/2010

OK I wonder who gave driver licenses to some of the people out there. These people driving around like nobody else is out there on the road, like we're mirages or something. Especially the ones in the over sized Tonka trucks attempting to intimidate anyone smaller than them. All of them going to fast and chanting "Get out of my way before I run you over!!" Too many men who haven't grown up or they forgot where the brake pedal is or they're too busy talking on their cell phones or Cb's, paging one another because they're too bored to stay focused on the damn road so the rest of us get chosen to play a nice game of pedestrian pinball.

GROW UP!!! And pretend that every driver around you is your grandmother. Is that how you would treat your grandmother???
